A Southern garden wedding in Pine Mountain, Georgia at Sweet Home Plantation.
Oh people, I can't wait for you to check out this wedding. But first, you will absolutely need a box of tissues. This wedding was the PERFECT weather with the most gorgeous details. And on top of that, this couple radiates joy & emotion.
Charlotte & Connar, I am tickled I was able to capture your day. Kaylan (the best second shooter on the planet) and I talked about just how perfect your wedding was all the way back to the hotel.
Their wedding day started at the cutest little chalets at Pine Mountain Club & Chalets. The girls were in a chalet overlooking the lake with dreamy lighting inside. Think an Ikea catalog meets Joana Gaines. Yep, I died. The girls got their hair & make-up done while sipping some mimosas.
From there we headed to Sweet Home Plantation. This venue is an secluded 100-acre property with an 1840s Greek Revival home. Holy moly was it gorgeous. It's the perfect location for a traditional Southern garden wedding. My words really won't do this wedding justice, you've got to see the photos.
Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Connar Wilkerson! I wish y'all a long happy marriage full of lots of kittens (for Char) & laughs!
I LOVE when brides choose to have a quiet moment, putting their dress on with their Mom, Maid of Honor, and Matron of Honor. It allows sweet photos like these and a little space because this is when it always settles in. You're officially a bride! // Also, I love a sweet bridesmaids reveal where we line the girls up with their eyes closed and you get to show off your wedding gown. The reactions are priceless. // And then when MeeMaw & your future mother-in-law pop in, we all lose it.
So I'm a hardcore Daddy's girl- another trend I adore is a first look with your Dad. Even if you choose to not do a first look with your fiancé, a first look with your Dad is so worth it. If you don't believe me, just take a look.
You ready for the sweetest ceremony and reactions? Seriously, grab some tissues.
